Lava Fields or Blackstone / Transfer to Shenzhou

Today is departure day from Mission Hills and we try to get you a late check-out but only can guarantee it for an additional night charge. Before leaving you will play one of the two signature courses Lava Fields or Blackstone, which are both located on the north side, so the start will be form the club house.
Lava Fields, with 7475 Yards Par 72, is a true competition course with relatively little trees and give you a feeling of wide and open space with room for your hits. The course is dominated by the characteristic lava stones and countless bunkers which offer a nice contrast for the eye and there are only 3 holes which are close to water. Lava Fields is definitely one of the classic courses in Hainan Island.

Blackstone is considered as the crown jewel of Mission Hills Haikou and the number one competition course. Embedded in the black lava stones the fairways are surrounded by tropical rain forest vegetation, lakes and old trees and there are also some old farm ruins and stone walls which give a reminder of what the area used to be. Gentle edges soften the rolling fairway and go over into sometimes big elevation changes. With 7600 Yards the course is definitely on the difficult side, but that is what a true competition course finally is about. The final holes offer a great risk / award play and risk takers can have a lot of fun or find deep frustration.

After refreshing, our guide and driver will pick you up in the lobby and you will drive in around 2 hours to the east coast of Hainan, near the city of Wanning and end up on Shenzhou Peninsula where you will stay for the next days in the Shenzhou Sheraton Hotel.
