Duolemeidi was invested bu the Italian Dolomiti Ski Resort and ski equipment producer Leitner. The primary goal was to create a resort that makes snowsports attractive and builds a platfrom to attract Chinese snowsports enthusiasts to travel to Italy for wintersports. Duolemeidi was thefirst ski resort in China that offered a high-speed 6 place chairlift with bubble, so the speed to go up the mountain is very high. On the other hand Duolemeidi is with 200 vertical drop meter the smallest of the 3 resorts in Chongli area, but with the huge flat slope in front of the ski loage and the magic carpet, offers perfect conditions for beginners. However, through the high frequency of the chairlift, also ambitious skiers have a great day. The lodge offers friendly atmosphere with Italian touch and in the restaurants you can find apart from Chinese food and hotpot also authnetic Pizza and Italian Coffee.
Ski season starts mostly in late November and lasts until early April. In early and mid Winter it can be quite fresh but March offers perfect conditions.

Duolemeidi does not offer its own accommodation yet, so skiers have to stay overnight in Chongli where you can find from basic and cheap guesthouses to a 5* Hotel more or less any level. The ride from Chongli to Duolemeidi takes around 20 minute and can be done by bus or taxi.

Genting can be reached by car from Beijign within 3-4 hours depending on the traffic and by coach it takes around 4-4.5 hours. There is also the possibility to get there by train via Zhangjiakou and then by cab to the ski resort, but this requires some China travel experience.
