Day 4: Detian - Mingshi

After breakfast we drive up to the Detian waterfalls which border Vietnam and are the second largest transnational waterfalls in the world. After a short walk we take the bamboo raft for a close view of the waterfall and then walk uphill to step quickly over into Vietnamese territory where you can buy at the various Vietnamese booths some souvenirs.
Later we drive to Mingshi, a Resort Hotel which is beautifully located in the limestone area.
Please note that the beds in Mingshi Resort are on the short side, the mats are fairly hard and the rooms a bit dark. However, the location of the hotel, scenery and pool area make up for it. Please also note that the service is very friendly, but not up to 4* Standard.
