Christoph Mueller is born and raised in Switzerland. After his college degree in economics, he moved to the Swiss mountains to work as a fully certified ski instructor, first in the Wallis and then in the Engadine Valley at Suvretta Sports St. Mortiz. From 2000-2003 he made an additional degree in tourism mamagement with PR extension at the Academia Engiadina in Samedan.

Afterwards he accepted to work as an intern for one year in Beijing for a Swiss travel company in Beijing / China, organising tours for Chinese to Switzerland and Europe and extended his stay by another 1.5 years to work at the same company as Director of Business Development and Strategy. In 2006 he quit to found his own company Hiddenchina.net GmbH with the goal to organise tailor-made tours for Western travelers to China. Over the years Hiddenchina developed into a Boutique travel company which consequentally tailors their itineraries to the needs of the clients. Hiddenchina has been organising tours for various international Ambassadors residing in Beijing, for Swiss Ministers and Federal Counsellors, for SWISS Airlines and countless US celebrities such as billionires, movie and music stars and alwasy to their fullest satisfaction. 

Christoph Mueller is married with a Chinese National and two chilren and has been lving in Kunming since 2015, after living for over 10 years in Beijing. His travel and tours took him to more or less all places in China ans his favorite travel areas are Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi and Tibet.

Since a travel company always depends on good photo material, he decided to take matters into his own hands and over the years photography changed from a mere tool into a passion for Christoph.
